Hello! I'm an Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics at Grand Valley State University (in Grand Rapids/Allendale, MI).

My two main areas of research involve the statistical analysis of functional MRI data (see Publications) and helping students engage with statistical concepts more dynamically through the use of web apps (specifically using R Shiny).

Michigan Statistics Poster Competition

I am chair of the annual competition, for which K-12 students throughout Michigan submit hundreds of posters telling the story of their statistical explorations. For more information, see:
