A notable activity
Initiated and organized a statistical conference, Statistics Career Day, held on Friday, October 14, 2005 at Grand Valley State University. It was a great success! More than 500 students, presenters, exhibitors, educators, and volunteers contributed to the event. Below is a picture of the organizing committee. Please click Statistics Career Day for more pictures. It resulted in a national publicity (page 16-17, AMSTAT NEWS, January, 2006).
Some pictures from my other activities
Below is a picture that Soon shows off his diving skill from a cliff in Jamaica, 12/05
At a departmental hiking event that I organized, Fall 2001 at the Muskegon State Park
At a department outing that I organized, Fall 2006 at the Saugatuck Boat Cruise.
