Dreams

Pleather claymation figures are the people in this dream. It takes place in a very old, dirty house. The lighting is normal most of the time, but suddenly becomes very dark blues and greens. It goes in and out frequently. The people are all children except a few motherly figures. All the children gather around the mother playing with toys and others on the floor. It is the bed and bedroom of my childhood neighbor, who is no longer alive. The lighting is very bright and soft because of the sunshine beaming in through the window. Suddenly everything becomes very dark and dingy—everything, even the claymation children and mother. The mother begins moaning and laying on her back as though she is in severe pain. Her claymation becomes a very dark blackish-blue color, and she begins to fill up like a balloon. Her stomach becomes bloated and grows. The pleather looks like it is going to explode or pop. Just at the moment that you think it will, the mother dies and becomes stiff. She is no loner living. Then it is bright again. This sudden darkness that bloats and kills people keeps attacking. The children get scared. One by one they too become pleather, bloat, stiffen, and die. The last scene is in an old cabin-like kitchen. One of the children tries to hide underneath a wooden table where he thinks he will be safe. Once again, however, the room suddenly gets dark. He becomes pleather and begins to bloat. His stomach grows and grows; he gets stiff, and this time his tongue spurts out of his mouth as a dark black chain with a bright blue light bulb on the end, which also happens to be on. I wake up at the sight of this. Throughout the dream I was very scared and felt panicked when I woke up. I was scared for the claymation children because they couldn’t get away. The colors of the dream are actually the colors of a painting I was working on at the time.

I was riding my bike down a slide, and I missed my exit. I was treating the slide like the expressway and figures that I could get off at the next exit and turn around and get back on track. So I got off at the next exit, but I was unable to turn around, so I had to keep following the slide. Suddenly there was a large drop off to see if I could do it. I knew it was too hard for me, and I would die. Only professional racecar drivers were doing down it. I asked someone how I could leave without going down the drop-off. They told me I had to pass three tests. I agreed right away because I didn’t want to die. I passed the first two and was brought into a room with a pool for the third and last test. There were three men standing behind a mirror watching me. They were the ones in charge of letting me go. There was also a woman, my manager Jodie, with me supervising. The pool contained sea creatures. I had to get five baby shrimps out of the pool. The pool was filled with large spiders, leeches, and any other gross sea creature that you can think of. I couldn’t see in the water because there was so much beer foam on the top of it. I refused to keep going because I couldn’t see in. Jodie was helping to clear some of the foam off. I took my first go at it after a lot of complaining. I was also terrified to do this because I couldn’t see what was in the water. I stuck my hands in and pulled them out only to find leeches on them. I freaked out and asked Jodie to help me get them off, but she replied that it was part of my test to do it alone. I couldn’t get the huge things off and when I finally did, they kept resucking on my fingers. It was similar to tape that you can’t get off your hands. I complained again and said it was an impossible test. Jodie then show me what I had to do. She explained that you have to hold your hands in the water for a few minutes and demonstrated. She pulled out about three shrimps and no leeches. I hesitantly went again. As I was bending down to put my hands in there were three gigantic spiders right on the surface of the water, and I could see more in the water. I showed them to Jodie and refused to put my hands in the water. Jodie poked them with a stick to reveal that they were dead and dried up and pushed them away. I stuck my hands in for a few seconds just like Jodie demonstrated. When I pulled them out my hands were filled with leaches and other small sea creatures. There were millions of small skinny leeches on my hands, so many you couldn’t see my skin anymore. They were all colors too. Some were dark and some were light pink-flesh tone. As soon as my h ands came up I freaked out and so did Jodie. She screamed to call the hospital and get a paramedic in immediately because this was really bad. I swear I could feel the leaches on my hands even when I woke up.
