This is the house he was living in at the time of his death. It is a small house on the grounds of the Divine Providence Hospital. The Sister's looked after him. It was during a funeral at their chapel that he was assassinated. |

This is the tomb of Oscar Romero. When I was in El
Salvador, this was in the basement of the Cathedral. The Cathedral was being
renovated, so this was all closed to the public. We were granted access probably
because we are North Americans. There's a great story the Salvadorans told us about Romero's tomb. Ask me about it sometime! |
