| The following pictures are all taken from the
Romero Center on the campus of UCA (University of Central America). The people of El
Salvador are very invested in keeping their martyrs alive. The Romero Center has a
museum with one room dedicated to the people, with walls of the disappeared (as shown
below), another room dedicated to Oscar Romero (assassinated in 1980) and Rutilio Grande
(murdered in 1978), and another room dedicated to the 6 Jesuits who were massacred. These photos are all from the Romero Center. |
