onto roadcut at the east end, gray slates(interbedded with quartzite on cm scale.) of upper part of enchantment lake Fm. grading into quartzites of Mesnard Formation. photos of samples. slate with thin quartzite interbedding.

continuing up section into mesnard quartzite, very clean quartzite with nicely rippled surfaces. samples and photos. video of ripples* video of strike and dip measurement*.

cross gap occupied by N-something and Kona Formation to Ajibik? quartzite. also very clean, tough to distinguish from Mesnard -- upper part has green spots and some cross bedding.

Cross the road southeast to exposure of Siamo Slate. Spectacular black slate thinly bedded with some *something beds. Great cleavage bedding relations and cleavage refraction.
