Swirling and choppy, saturated and stark, The Lawn attempts to put the American lawn in its proper context as harassment, obligation and ill-conceived greenery. It's a protest and coming to terms with the unfortunate inheritance of an unwieldy and unnecessary expanse of lawn. A cacophony of voices and other sounds stakes out the position of protest.
