Following a lone longboard skater, Night Skate attempts to be both a formal and social exploration of the city at night. At times sounds of the board creaking, wheels rolling and ricocheting pebbles create an insular bubble of isolation from the urban landscape. At other times the two worlds feed off each other. Eventually the temporal plane becomes disjointed as the skater chases his shadow down deserted sidewalks and into the night.
